Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California and several other states give you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. This page explains what that means here and how to exercise it.

What we share, and why it may count as a sale

When you submit a request, GetMatchedPro passes your details to independent local service professionals so they can contact you about your project. That is the entire purpose of the service, and it is what you are asking us to do.

Because those professionals are separate businesses and there is value exchanged, that sharing may be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing" under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws -- even though we do not sell your information for anyone else's unrelated advertising.

How to opt out

You can opt out in either of these ways:

• Call 888-918-3742 and say you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• Write to GetMatchedPro, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, with the phone number or email address you submitted.
• Tell any professional who contacts you that you are opting out, and ask them to pass it on.

We will ask for the phone number or email address you submitted so we can find your record. We will not use that information for anything except handling your request.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out request for that browser.

What happens after you opt out

We stop sharing your information with service professionals.

That means we can no longer connect you with anyone. If you opt out, you should contact professionals directly rather than through this site.

Opting out does not reach professionals your information was already shared with. To be removed from their records, contact them directly.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out for you. We will ask the agent to show they have your permission, and we may ask you to confirm it directly.
