Your Home Project, Whatever It Is

Drywall patch, garage door, sagging fence, a dishwasher that needs hooking up. If the job does not fit one of our other categories, it fits here.

    Helpful detail

    • The room or outside area where the work is needed

    Worth a closer look

Signs the Job Should Not Wait

    • A garage door that drops fast or hangs crooked on its track
    • A fence post or deck rail that shifts when you lean on it
    • A ceiling stain that keeps spreading or drips after it rains
    • A gutter pulling away from the roofline with water running behind it
    • A gas smell near a stove, dryer, or water heater that does not fade

    What Happens With Your Request

GetMatchedPro is not a contractor and does not do the work. We take the details you enter and pass them to independent local pros, who contact you directly about the job, the schedule, and the price.

    Straight answers

What GetMatchedPro does — and doesn't

    We do
Collect your project details in four short steps and pass them to independent professionals who work in your area.
    We don't
Perform, price, license, supervise, or guarantee any of the work. The pro you hire is an independent business.
    Your choice
Talking to a pro is not an obligation. You decide who to hire, and whether to hire anyone.

    Questions

    Other questions

My project does not fit any of your categories. Can you still help?

Yes, that is what this page is for. Describe the job in your own words, whether it is drywall, fencing, a garage door, or something you cannot name, and we pass it to local pros. If nobody nearby handles that work, you may not be matched.

Do I need to know what kind of contractor I need?

No. Tell us what you see and what you want fixed, replaced, or built. The pros read the description and decide whether it is their kind of work. Some handle a wide mix of jobs and others are specialists, so extra detail helps them sort it out fast.

What does it cost to send a request?

Sending the request through this site is free. Any price for the work is set by the pro who contacts you, usually after they hear the details or look at the job in person. We do not set or quote prices, so ask each pro for their own estimate.

What if my problem is an emergency?

If you smell gas, see fire or sparks, or have water pouring into the house, call 911 or your gas or power utility first. This form is for scheduling work, not an emergency line, and there is no set time by which someone will reach you.

How many pros will contact me?

That depends on who covers your ZIP code and who is taking new work, so it may be one or it may be a few. You can hear each of them out, compare what they tell you, and hire whoever you like, or nobody at all.
