    We do

    We don't

    Your choice
Talking to a pro is not an obligation. You decide who to hire, and whether to hire anyone.

    Questions

    Tree & Landscaping questions

How much does tree removal cost?

Every pro prices a tree differently, so we do not quote. Cost usually tracks the height and spread, how close it sits to the house or fence, and whether a truck can reach it. Ask each pro who calls what the price covers, including hauling the wood and grinding the stump.

Is the stump included when a tree comes down?

Often it is not. Grinding the stump is usually priced as its own item, and some crews come back with a separate machine to do it. Say in your request whether you want the stump gone so the pros who call can price the whole job.

A branch is on the power line. Who should I call?

Call your electric utility first, and call 911 if a line is down, sparking, or on the ground. The utility owns the wires and usually handles what is touching their equipment. A tree pro can take care of the rest of the tree once the line is safe.

When is the right time of year to prune a tree?

It depends on the species. Many shade trees are pruned in late winter while they are dormant, and spring bloomers are usually cut back soon after they finish flowering. Dead, broken, or hanging limbs are a different matter and get handled whenever they show up.

Does GetMatchedPro do the tree work?

No. We pass your request to independent tree and landscaping pros who work in your area, and they contact you directly. They set their own prices, scheduling, and scope of work, so compare what you hear before you hire anyone.
