Does GetMatchedPro repair the furnace?
No. We are a request service, not an HVAC contractor. Your note goes to independent local HVAC pros who handle the work, and they can call the number you left to talk it through.
How much will the repair cost?
Nobody here quotes it. A blower motor and a whole system swap sit nowhere near each other in cost, and only the pro standing at your equipment can put a number on either one. Ask on the call.
Why does the air turn warm ten minutes in?
Because the system is losing capacity as it runs, not at startup. A pro will think about low refrigerant or a coil icing over, and the ten-minute mark narrows that before anyone opens the cabinet. Write the number down.
What should I have ready before a pro calls?
Age and brand. Both sit on a sticker inside the access panel or on the side of the outdoor cabinet, and a phone photo of it saves everyone a trip. Say so on the call if the sticker is long gone.
Do I need a new system or just a repair?
Not our call. Age matters and so does what failed, and a twelve-year-old unit gets that conversation far more often than a four-year-old one. The pro answers it standing at the equipment.
