Windows questions
Can a foggy window be fixed without replacing the whole thing?
Often, yes. Fog means the seal on the insulated glass unit gave out, and that unit can come out while the frame stays right where it is. Age and brand decide it, and the pro reads both off the spacer between the panes.
Do I have to do every window at once?
No. One room is a normal job, and so is one stuck sash in a hallway. Doing a whole side of the house at once can help the trim and the color line up, but that is your decision to make with the pro.
Why is there no price on this page?
Because the price belongs to the pro, not to us. Glass choice and the condition of the wood under the sill move that number more than anything, and neither is visible from a form. Get it in writing.
When does somebody call me?
Independent local window pros do the calling, and the timing is theirs alone. We hold no schedule. If the sash will not lock or the pane is open to the weather, put that in the first line of your note.
Is GetMatchedPro a window company?
